What changed
The UAE Cabinet announced on 23 April 2026 that half of federal government services will be delivered by AI agents within two years. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid announced it, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed oversees it, and Mohammed Al Gergawi leads the implementation task force. Rollout is phased across ministries, and all federal employees are to receive AI training.
